Children's Classes- ages 3-10
TINY TOES: Ages 3 & 4 yrs old Class Description: This 1 hour class is a great class for your pre-schooler to participate in. Throughout the class, young dancers learn how to take turns, listen to someone other than Mom or Dad, participate in encouraging others, and practice their motor skills. The children will practice dance related creative movement exercises that will enhance their fine and gross motor skill development. They will also do traditional Ballet & Tap technique that includes Barre work, Center work, and across the floor work as well as variations (combinations). They will learn terminolgy and technique in a nurturing and positive atmosphere.
Class Summary: 30 Minutes of Ballet & 30 minutes of Tap Dress code: Plain Black leotard (body suit) of any style, Pink footed dance tights, Any color Ballet skirt or Tutu, Pink Leather split sole Ballet shoes, Black Patent Leather Tie Tap Shoes, & any color dance sweater. PRE-JUNIORS Ages 7 & 8 yrs old Class Description: This 1.5 hour class is a great class for your young dancer to participate in. Throughout the class, the dancers will learn 30 minutes of Ballet, 30 minutes of Tap, & 30 Minutes of Jazz. It's an awesome opportunity to take a little bit of 3 different styles of dance. It is affordable and convenient. The class meets once a week. Talented teachers motivated their students through positive reinforcement and strong example. This class is fun and educational.
