 Artistic Director/Owner:  Sheri Masiello 

Sheri Masiello has been dancing since a young age. Her love of dance and teaching has grown into a successful career. Sheri is a member of Dance Educators of America, has a BA in Psychology, and has studied, Fine Arts, Elementary Education, and Theatre.  She has experience with being a YMCA dance camp director, After school Dance program Director for various R.I. Elementary Schools and has produced and directed multiple recitals, shows, and performances, as well as, having taught all styles of dance for over 16 years.

She has performed in Walt Disney World in Florida, Virginia Beach, and New York City. She has participated and performed at many fashion shows, fundraisers, hair shows, events at the former Warwick Musical Theatre and Civic Center, and pagents in the Rhode Island Area as well as Massachusetts. She was fortunate enough to perform as an opening act for the late"Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop". She has choreographed for numerous performance, recitals, competitions, and community theatre musicals over the past 18 years.

Sheri has performed in competitions locally and nationally. She has learned from many talented teachers and perfromers auch as: Kathy St. Jean, Debi D'Orio,Christine Hennessey, Rob Istre, Mike Minery, Juan Sanchez, Pam Bolling, and many more. She now prepares her students for performances as they display their talents in R.I. Ma, Florida, and any place else in the world.

  Through teaching dance, Mrs. Sheri has been able to meet, teach, and be a part of many  peoples lives. Most of which have been affected by her energy, and confident sense of well being. She motivates her dancers in a way that is beneficial to them both in the classroom and in every day life.

Sheri believes that all of her dancers are important. She is dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and nurturing to all. She is proud that TTP offers a professional learning atmosphere for dancers in all areas of the performing arts. Already, some of Mrs. Sheri's dancers have gone on to become something every special. Some have gone to L.A. where they are persuing acting, some like Jaime Bingham, are currently performing in Clubs throughout R.I., Ma. , and Ct., and others have become dance teachers.

Sheri's dream of owning her own dance studio started at the age of 5 years old. It come to fruition in 1999. She shares her dream with her husband Carl and sons, Sebastian and Xavier. Since the opening of To The Pointe, many talented dancers have come through her doors and have become a part of her dance family. Mrs. Sheri has passed on her love of dance, and her passion to dream. She has helped many children grow in to wonderful adults, some of whom now teach with her......

 

 

Assistant Director: Alicia Jackvony 

Alicia started dancing when she was just 4 years of age. As she grew as a dancer, she performed, competed, and traveled throughout the United States. She attended Bryant College in which she obtained a BA in Business and Communications. She has been teaching at To The Pointe for many years. Mrs. Alicia has a wonderful and warm personality. Dancers come from all over the R.I. area to take one of Ms. Alicia's childrens'classes. Mrs. Alicia is the proud mom of beautiful girl Gracyn Marie.

Office Manager:  Angela Aspeel 

Mrs. Angela has been with To The Pointe for many years. First as a dance mom herself, and now as the office manager. Mrs Angela can be seen at the desk keeping our world organized. She along side the TTP staff work hard to make our dancer's experience a positive one. Mrs. Angela is very easy to talk to and she helps our dancers with all of their needs. Mrs. Angela is the proud mom to dancers Karina and Cristi.
