Dancing during the summer provides our dancers with the opportunity to further practice and progress as dancers.  It is also a great way for new dancers to try out dance to see if it is something that they would like to continue learning in the Fall. Children are always looking for something to do throughout the long summer months, so why not dance in a safe, clean, and  air-conditioned atmosphere?

 WHY SHOULD YOU SPENT YOUR SUMMER WITH TO THE POINTE?

   Our weekly classes are run the same as throughout the school year., focusing on learning dance steps and terminology and having fun. Our camps are run by our teachers, not teenagers. Every minute of camp is spent on learning, or doing something that is productive and in an organized fashion.  All dancers leave feeling like they have accomplished something, and that feels great! They may also make new friends in the process!  To The Pointe has built a reputation on years of  experience! Each camp runs for one week (Mon. thru Fri.) and taught by one of our talented teachers. There are 2 time frames available: 9am-12pm or  9am-4pm. We provide a healthy snack and drink for all camps. 9-4 campers must pack a lunch as well.

 ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS CAMP              Ages 5-10

Join us as we shake our groove thing to all the fun music on the new Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakual CD. Campers will stretch, dance, play dance related games, do arts n crafts, and have a groovy time preparing for a mini-recital that they will be performing in on the last day of camp!

                   DISNEY’S PRINCESS & THE FROG CAMP    Ages 3-7

Travel down to New Orleans and become a Princess! Campers will dance to the beautiful eclectic mix of Ballet and Upbeat Music from the Princess & The Frog CD. They will be stretching, learning dance steps and terms, play dance related games, make princess themed arts n crafts, and prepare for a fun mini-recital to be held on the last day of camp!

              WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE CAMP        Ages 6-12

 Get Funky with Selena Gomez and the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place! Campers will stretch, dance, make WOWP themed Arts n Crafts, play dance related games, and prepare for a fun mini-recital to be held on the last day of camp!

 Dates: Cranston Studio: August 16-20                     N. Prov. Studio: July 26-30

             NEW MOON/ECLIPSE CAMP        Ages 9 and Up

Dance into the world of Twilight by experiencing the second and third installments through dance! Campers will stretch, dance, work on leaps, turns, and flexibility, play dance related games, make New Moon/ Eclipse themed Arts n Crafts, Read, Write their own journals using portions of the original books written by Stephenie Meyer, and prepare for a fun mini-recital to cool music from each soundtrack.

        MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CAMP  Ages 9 and Up

 Campers will be dancing to music from every decade of Michael Jackson’s career. They will stretch, dance, play dance related games, make MJ themed crafts, and  prepare for an exciting mini-recital to be held on the last day of camp!
