Teacher/Receptionist: Lauren Cote

Miss Lauren as worked along side Mrs. Sheri since before TTP opened it's doors in 1999. Together they directed the well-known Kent County YMCA dance camps for 2 years. Upon graduating from URI, Miss Lauren taught at a Pre-school for children with special needs. She now works full time at TTP where she works along side Mrs. Angela at the desk and also teaches all styles of dance. She has performed in many community theatre performances for The Academy Players and Chance to Dance. She has been in such musicals as "A Chorus Line", A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", and "Jesus Christ Superstar". She is currently working on the planning of TTP's Hershey Park performance this summer.

Teacher/Receptionst: Liz Drape

Miss Liz has been dancing for many years. She has an extensive background in dance and gymnastics. Miss Liz currently attends CCRI. She plans to work full time at TTP upon graduation. Miss Liz is full of light and energy and her students love her. She will be perfoming in Hershey Park this August.

Teacher/Receptionist: Denise Viti

Ms. Denise has been teaching for over a decade. She first started performing under the direction of of Kathy St. Jean. Once old enough to teach, Ms. Denise continued her teaching career at TTP.  She has traveled and performed locally and nationally. She has competed and consistantly scored at the top off her field. Ms Denise also works for Ocean State Pediatrics where she is a receptionst. She is the proud mom of Natalia.

Teacher: Jennifer Larsh

Miss Jen has an extensive background in Ballet , Pointe, and Lyrical. She has been dacning since a very young age. She has been teaching at To The Pointe for over 5 years. As well as teaching at TTP, Mrs. Jen is a Pre-K teacher at St. Ann's in Providence. She is the proud Mom of Emma and Ryan.

Teacher: Tara Gast

Miss Tara has been dancing for over 25 years. She has been teaching for over a decade. Along side teaching at TTP, she is a fitness program director at the West Bay YMCA and the Dance Program Director there as well. She has a degree is Exercise Science from U.R.I. This October, Miss Tara will become Mrs. Tara when she marries fiance Anthony Calise!

Teacher/Receptionist: Kristi McIntyre

Miss Kristi has performed in Walt Disney World, competed, and performed in various local shows and parades. She is a talented Tap dancer. Her classes are fun and educational. Dancers love Miss Kristi because of her kind and patient teaching style. She is currently enrolled at New England Tech where she is studying to become a Surgical Technician.

Teacher/Receptionist: Angel Yeomans

Miss Angel has been dancing with To The Pointe since it opened it's doors in 1999. She is a talented Hip Hop and Jazz dancer. She brings energy and excitement to her classes. She currently attends R.I.C. where she is studying for a degree in Early Childhood Education / Special Ed.

Teacher/Receptionist: Stacey Guiot

Miss Stacey has an extensive background in all styles of dance. Having performed with TTP for many years and also as a young child with Carolyn Dutra, she has a cultivated background as a dancer. She has recently graduated from Quinnipiac with a pre-med degree and plans to attend Medical School next fall. We are pleased to have her as a teacher this year!

Teacher Trainee: Jamie McIntyre

Miss Jamie is currently a senior at Cranston West High School. She is in her second year of teacher training at TTP. She has competed locally and has won gold and platinum medals. She will be performing this August in Hershey Park.

 

 

Teacher Trainee: Tara Olivo

Miss Tara is a Junior at North providence High School. She is currently in her first year of teacher training at TTP. She has performed with TTP and her High School dance team. She also teaches CCD to middle school children.

 

Teacher Trainee: Karina Aspeel

Miss Karina is a Sophmore at North Providence High School. She is currently in her first year of teacher training at TTP. She has been dancing since the age of 3. She has competed and performed with TTP and her high school dance team for many years and has a passion for teaching dance.
