PRE-REQUISITE: Dancers wishing to enroll in LYRICAL OR CONTEMPORARY must also be enrolled in Ballet at the same time.

STYLES OF DANCE OFFERED: Dancers in this level are offered multiple styles of dance that will benefit them in various ways...see descriptions below:DRESS CODE: Plain Black Leotard, Pink convertible tights, plain black shorts, Pink split sole leather Ballet shoes, Tan Pull on Jazz Shoes, Dance paws, Light Pink Pointe shoes, Tan Dolly Tap Shoes for SHINING STARS, Tan Heel tap shoes for RISING STARS, Black Oxford Tap Shoes Star Steppers & Seniors.

**Fitted Black Recital Shirts may be worn on the Tap/Jazz/ HH night.

Ballet provides the technical background necessary to sharpen other styles of dance. Grace, Poise and Conscience of Center help the dancer become stronger.

Tap is a great style of dance to improve memorization and rhythmic skills.

Jazz provides flexibility and preciseness.

Lyrical brings the dance to a whole new level musically and incorporates "Acting" and facial expression. It is a beautiful combination of Jazz and Ballet.

Contemporary, an extension of Modern Dance, involves eclectic movement and story telling.

Pointe is an advanced level of ballet in which the dancer uses Pointe shoes to bring their ballet technique to the next level.

Advanced Technique provides our dancers with the opportunity to sharpen their advanced skills such as Leaps, turns, tricks, Musical Theatre techniques, and Conditioning.

LEVEL PLACEMENT IS BASED ON AGE, EXPERIENCE, & ABILITY.
